  A common disease is fibropapillomatosis, which is a debilitating skin disease. Tumors are developed on their skin and can destroy the sea turtles internal system. The tumors will appear on the turtles soft tissue and on the shell. The tumors can be surgically removed and 90% of the turtles survive.Scientists don’t know the cause of this disease and sadly there is no cure for this disease.
